Proscien provides robust sun protection technology using the following two innovative approaches:

1. Natural sun resistant actives derived from local plants. We scout our unique high sunlight intensity environment for species with sun irradiation properties and identify their active components.
2. Effective, uniform distribution of natural and conventional sunlight-filtering molecules onto skin. It is known that a uniformly dispersed sunscreen layer provides much better protection than the same amount of sunscreen nonuniformly distibuted. Our ability to control the rheology and viscoelasticity of a formulation coupled with our understanding of skin topology enables us to provide formulation platforms that deliver various filter packages uniformly over all skin surfaces.

We also conduct noninvasive sun protection efficacy measurements on human skin.
